Radiography and Computed Tomography

Radiography is the biggest aids used in the diagnosis of oral diseases, it allows your dentist to evaluate any injuries to your face and mouth. The most commonly used radiography methods are as follow: periapical films (small films showing 2-3 teeth) panoramic films (large films that can show all of the jaw bones) tomography scan/CT scan (known as the most advanced method thanks to the 3D imaging system).

Digital radiography devices, a computer-aided technique, also allow us to make detailed evaluations by using very low radiation dose, allowing color and light play on the film image. It can help detect changes in hard and soft tissues, evaluate caries, diagnose joint disorders.
